How can Heart and Soul Cuisine help me with my event?

In addition to assisting with your food planning, presentation, and staffing needs, we provide full event planning services, including flower arrangements, music and entertainment, security and transportation, event design and event production from our highly recommended vendor list. Our specialty is customization of events and menus to meet each client’s unique vision.

What types of services do you provide?

Heart and Soul Cuisine is a full- service caterer. We handle your entire event from setup to cleanup. We offer our clients a team of highly trained professionals, including a field chef, event manager, wait/service staff and bartenders to oversee every aspect of your event so you will have the freedom to enjoy yourself and your guests. We provide client pickup and drop off options to meet your needs.

What type of uniform do your employees wear at events?

Our professional service staff is customarily uniformed in black pants, with either a choice of a long-sleeved black dress shirt or long-sleeved white dress shirts, with khaki embroidered aprons. Other arrangements may be made on request, e.g., khaki and pastels or specialty uniforms may be ordered for a fee.

What does your bar package include?

All bar needs can be provided with our packages including basic glassware, mixers, soft drinks, mineral water, ice, cocktail napkins, bar fruit and garnishes, We can accommodate specialty drinks, such as margaritas if arrangements are made in advance with your event planner. All alcohol is to be purchased by the client.

What is your alcohol policy?

We are happy to assist you in ordering and arranging for the delivery of your liquor; however, because caterers are by Texas law prohibited from selling alcohol, the vendor will invoice it to you directly. Please consult with a Heart and Soul Cuisine professional for more information.

Can you arrange for the rental of dishware, flatware, glassware, linens, tents, etc.?

Heart and Soul has real dishware for groups up to 300 but we also work closely with the top rental companies in Lubbock to provide our clients with a wide variety of rental options and event decor/design. The relationships we have established with these vendors allow us to cover any of our clients’ rental needs, ranging from classic designs to cutting edge styles that can add distinction to any event.

Is there a cake cutting charge?

We do not charge a “Cake Cutting Fee.” Our service staff will be happy to cut and plate your wedding cake, without additional charge when you have purchased the full-service package, however, if you choose to have a non-full service event we are more than happy to work out a plan to have the appropriate staff needed.

What are you best known for?

Heart and Soul Cuisine is best known for a number of things, but I would say that our ability to help you throw an exceptional party with exquisite food and impeccable service and our reputation for listening to our clients is something that we are consistently able to deliver. We pride ourselves on understanding what is important and our ability to create that vision.

Can you create my personal “Family Recipes?”

Absolutely! We pride ourselves in our flexibility to meet our client’s needs in every aspect of their events. We try our best to duplicate your treasured thoughts, memories or ideas.

Definitely! We enjoy working closely with our clients to find just the right foods, recipes and ingredients necessary to enhance their events and create the perfect atmosphere they envision. Can you adapt your menus to suit food restrictions?

Heart and Soul Cuisine can accommodate any special dietary concerns. Our “from-scratch” customized menus, combined with our knowledgeable culinary team, enable us to prepare any dish with the special attention required for those guests with restricted diets.

What is an “Off-Site” or “Off-Premises” caterer?

An off-premises caterer specializes in providing food and service to its clients in varying locations, whether a large event facility, private home, backyard, or office. Off-premises caterers are specially equipped to handle the challenges and flexibility needed to successfully manage events in a wide range of locations.

Where do you cater?

We can cater anywhere a caterer is allowed, from private homes, community parks and corporate offices to event facilities large and small. Click here for a list of Preferred Venues.

When is the latest I can place an order?

The latest time we will accept a new order request is 48 hours before the event is set to occur. Contact us to place an order.

Do you deliver?

We provide flexible options to best meet your event and/or budget needs.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes, you can pick up your orders directly from our facility.

When do I have to have the final guest count for my event?

We must receive your final count no later than 72 hours before the event.
