Lubbock Events Recap: Newsom Family Farms Peach & Wine Festival

The definition of farm-to-table. That is what the Newsom Family Farms Peach & Wine Festival delivered last month during their two-day event.

Located on a patch of land surrounded by an orchard, the smell of locally sourced peaches filled the air as festival-goers enjoyed succulent peaches and sweet wine.

Everything about the festival highlighted our Lubbock-area farms and the amazing people who make them possible. We are so thankful to have been a part of such a uniquely West Texas event.

Did you miss out? Don’t feel bummed! Here’s a recap that’ll leave you waiting for next year’s event! Which we strongly recommend buying tickets for.

The event kicked off on Saturday with vendors, food trucks, and live music. Our staff cooked and served over 200 people a locally-sourced peach cobbler and ice cream. The next day, our team catered a whole Sunday brunch – with mimosas, of course!

The food was delicious, the mimosas were perfect, and the setting was breathtaking. Just like the beautiful experiences English Newsom creates for their wine club members, this event was one that won’t soon be forgotten, and we loved being their featured caterer!

Wondering what we served? Here’s the scoop:

  • Quiche lorraine
  • Bacon
  • Sausage
  • Peach french toast casserole with cream cheese glaze (see recipe in last month’s blog)
  • Peach Caprese with balsamic glaze
  • Brunch charcuterie & pastries
  • Tea
  • Water
  • Coffee
