A holiday party is one of the best ways to get everyone together for a fun and festive time.
Whether you are planning a casual hang-out at your home or a company Christmas lunch – we promise – there’s a catering option that’s perfect for you!
From crowd-pleasing charcuteries to full-service plated meals, here are 3 catering styles you might consider for your holiday event this year.
Formal affairs are fun, but they’re not everyone’s cup of tea. If low-key is what you’re going for, we recommend our Heart & Soul charcuterie. And you can’t go wrong with our classic board.
It’s beautifully designed with fresh fruits and veggies, hummus, dried fruits, chocolate bark, assorted nuts, artisan meats and cheeses, and assorted crackers.
Our “Sharing Size” feeds up to six, so plan according to your RSVPs, place your order at least 24 hours in advance, and we’ll call you when it’s ready for pickup!
Holiday Grazing Table
For a more substantial menu that doesn’t require a catering staff, a holiday grazing table is the way to go. This allows your guests to pick and choose which dishes appeal to them and return to the table for seconds or thirds!
At Heart & Soul, our grazing package comes with a classic charcuterie board + one hot and savory item and two holiday desserts.
A new item we’re offering this holiday season is pumpkin spice brie – creamy, soft cheese topped with pumpkin spice filling + candied nuts, wrapped in a buttery flaky crust and served hot. (Yes, it does taste as good as it sounds.)
And of course, there’s our classic spinach and artichoke chip – famous for its flavors and textures of cheesy goodness, fresh spinach, and tender artichoke. Yum!
When it comes to the holidays, a plated meal will never go out of style. The appeal of a formal, full-service experience is that everyone gets to sit down and enjoy it together… including you!
Our team at Heart & Soul will handle it all – from setup to cleanup and everything in between. And in addition to assisting with your food planning, presentation, and staffing needs, we also offer event design and decor services.
As far as the menu goes, it’s up to you! For the holidays, we might suggest something like our coffee-rubbed beef tenderloin with garlic mashed potatoes and seasoned haricots verts.
We enjoy working closely with our clients to find just the right foods, recipes, and ingredients necessary to create the atmosphere you envision, no matter the season or size of the party.
